If you’re a fan of Usher, R-Kelly or Mario let the smooth, silky lyrics of R&B Artist C-Jay seduce you with his tune “Get To Know”. Or, bounce to the up-tempo beat of “Like That”.
The sexy vocals of Jermaine Cameron “C-Jay”, float effortlessly above the music like a young Usher and has an ethereal quality that takes you on a magical journey. Born into a family that he claims has no musical talent, his natural voice is truly a blessing. He has matured and blossomed into a polished, professional Artist from the early days of his first performance in St. Marten at the tender age of twelve when he embarked on his music career singing at church. “Some say I got my start in church, but I started singing to little girls on the phone since I was… like 10.”
In 1998 C-Jay joined an all boys Gospel Group named "Blessed". “In those days we were really a force to recon with in St. Marten.” After getting his feet wet with the group he made a deeper commitment to becoming an Artist and began writing his own songs, which actually started as a joke but he ended up writing some really good material. His favorite topic to write about is the female persuasion covering themes that speak about past relationships and anticipations of future ones “…Praying the next girl doesn’t leave me in the dust again.” His music influences are evident in his style starting with the legendary Stevie Wonder, old school guys like Sam Cooke, soulful Bryan Mc Knight, songstress India Arie and Musiq Soulchild.
In 2000 he met Mr. 51/50 a local club owner and did some work with him in the studio for a while, but he never felt that people shared the same passion for music that he had. C-Jay’s talent has led him to perform on many live shows. He has competed and won many talent competitions and even took third place representing St. Marten in a Caribbean Star Singing Showdown. He has also opened for International Artists Dru Hill, Percy Sledge, Hip-Hop/Rap Artists Lloyd Banks and Bow Wow.
“I always had music on the back burner and never took it as serious as I was supposed to. When my Granddad died in 2008 to heart disease I decided it’s time to stop wasting what God gave me and take it a little serious because life is so short and you never know when it’s your time”. When C-Jay moved back to St.Kitts for college he continued to pursue music and met many talented Artists; Easy B, Cutie, and Producer Kelvin from SKN Entertainment formerly Equator Records. He was also a member of the popular Rap Group “Da Embassy”, but it wasn’t until he met Romeo Parris owner of Club Kactus, that he realized his dream of creating inspiring music for people would become a reality. Now he is signed to Kactus Entertainment’s Agape Records and working with Music Producer Niquan on his first album “Premonition” in St. Kitts.
“I believe music is the number one source of expression. It soothes the heart and soul. Many will listen, some will not, but one will be inspired, I bet”.

Big Lo has, and will continue to perform at every possible chance in order to have his message heard. Second, the internet (social networking, e-mail, internet radio etc) will be a tool used heavily in the promotion of The Plague. ### Big Lo
Biography:
Now-a-days the authority look at Hip Hop as a mere sub-culture that will eventually give way to forced societal evolution. They believe that it will become a victim of its own success – swallowing the almighty dollar until it bursts from the inside. Many emcees have stepped away from the truth to follow the glam of commercialism. The state of Hip Hop is under attack from a bitter enemy that has been waging war against freedom of speech and music for decades.
There are a few emcees left that are not afraid to stand on the front line and protect the culture that has given millions of youth a voice across the world. Some have given their lives, both literally and metaphorically, to ensure the future of the movement. Some have sweat blood and tears to bring themselves from being poor in spirit to being rich in wisdom and word. Big Lo has done his time and is staking his claim as a poet of Hip Hop.
Big Lo now lives in Pensacola, Florida, and is one of the true believers and preachers of Hip Hop; taking the empire over one city at a time. With Hip Hop infused with his soul and with inspiration from emcees like Killah Priest, Canibus, Wu-Tang Clan, 2Pac (RIP) and others he began to sharpen his craft and freestyle at the age of sixteen – within two years he began to piece together his artwork. In 2003, he brought his unique gift of word to the people and he hasn’t looked back since. The people of Tallahassee, Ft. Walton, Pensacola, Orlando, Thomasville, Panama City, Miami, Mobile, Atlanta and New York City have already experienced the brutal truth-telling rhymes that he brings to the mic.
Big Lo has featured on many mix-tapes and compilations. His appearance on “Guerillas in the Mixx” placed him amongst music warriors such as Public Enemy, The Coup, and Michael Franti. His album “Where Am I Going?” with the tracks “Where Am I Going?”, “The State of Hip Hop”, and “The Way You Make Me Feel” (featuring Indya) allowed his music to reach the far corners of the hip-hop empire through internet and radio play.
Big Lo has released more music with the help of Jade Foxx, Tonedeff, 14th Century, Vast Aire, Inferno, Tommy 2 Face and Beretta 9 and many more talented Hip Hop emcees. In 2007 he released his second album, “MindState: Freedom”. In 2008 he released the "First Priority" Mixtape hosted by Shadyville/G-Unit's DJ Epps and in September of this year he released his third album, entitled "The Plague".
Big Lo’s political observance and self-awareness within the confines of his rhymes serve testament to his unique style to incorporate his inner-most influences and passions – most notably the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Soren Kierkegaard, Hunter S. Thompson and the never-ending struggle for freedom across the globe – particularly within occupied Palestine.
There is no question that Lo has picked up the banner of Hip Hop and charged full-charge toward the enemy that wishes to see Hip Hop destroyed from within. The societal evolution they are working so hard for will soon be the revolution that devours them and frees the souls and minds of millions. Like Big Lo revealed in his track “Anotha Drop in the Bucket” – “… save the children and pray for the rest.”

G-MO Receives His Ph.D. In Hip Hopology
My Thesis Mixtape Introduces G-MO To The World
TUSCON, ARIZONA (03/30/10) – Receiving a Ph.D. requires the completion of a thesis that can demonstrate a candidate’s contribution to their field of study. In this case, the candidate is experimental hip hop artist G-MO. His new contribution to the genre of hip hop is an eighteen-track mixtape entitled My Thesis. Released through Citrus Soul Entertainment, My Thesis is G-MO’s global debut as a solo artist. It precedes the unveiling of his first studio album called Loco Motion later in 2010.
Originally from Los Angeles, G-MO has had a lifetime of influences across many diverse styles of music. My Thesis is G-MO’s ‘musical dissertation’ and reflects his musical evolution while studying the genres of urban, dance, techno, and hip hop. Composed with experience and lyrical craftsmanship, the tracks on My Thesis merge to create a unique sound that is fresh and full of flavor. G-MO comments, ‘I like to keep it real, but trendy at the same time and always true to myself as an artist.’
Many of the tracks on My Thesis contain samples and beats from other artists. ‘It’s Alright’ features an Eagles sample with G-MO’s wicked lyrical rewrites and creative interpretation. ‘Round and Round’ is one of four original tracks with a club-like feel and hooky lines that display his use of dance beats within a hip hop motif. Tracks such as ‘Foot Fetish’ and ‘Suga Mama’ contain tongue-in-cheek lyrics over a mix of old school and experimental hip hop. Listeners can drink up ‘Soju’ as it envelops the listener with a juicy chilled-out hypnotic rhyme immerses in a liquid-like trance background.
My Thesis shows G-MO is much more than your typical hip hop artist. He is an artist armed with a pen and fly rhymes. He has spent years studying musical genres before writing his ‘musical dissertation.’ My Thesis has given G-MO global exposure and his ‘Ph.D. in Hip Hopology.’ The mixtape is already receiving high grades from hip hop fans around the world. While you await the release of Loco Motion you can go grade G-MO’s My Thesis by downloading the mixtape free of charge on his site!

twitter.com/gmo3 Biography:
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California (Hawthorne to be exact), G-MO is by no means a novice to the genre of hip hop music. He beholds a passion for music that could hardly be dubbed as a “fly-by-night” emotion. His love for music is deeply rooted and has been with him his whole life. The spark that lit the flame for his love of hip hop was the first time he heard Eric B and Rakim's "Eric B For President".
While in junior high school, he began free styling with his home girl Ebony. He later became a member of the underground hip hop group Third Eye Triad when he attended Gardena High. Unfortunately he was the youngest one of the group and the other group members graduated and moved on with their lives. In 2000 destiny introduced him to King Kekai and Shuma Dara from the group KRT. After giving him the opportunity to spit a verse on a song for a mix tape, they later invited him to join the group. They began working on a demo and started performing in venues ranging from San Jose to LA. In 2003 G-MO had to relocate to Tucson, AZ, where he currently resides. It was then that he added producing to his list of many gifts and talents.
Still representing hard for his home town of Hawthorne, G-MO aspires to make a career out of what he loves as much as he loves his kids, which is none other than making music. As he commands his pen to create lyrics that seamlessly flow and beats highly “flavored” with as much bass as you can stand that make you want to “bob ya head”, his mission is to create music that will be enshrined in the memory of all who hear it. So, here he is Mr. G-M to the round letter.

Plunky & Oneness 2012 Collectors’ Box Set
J. Plunky Branch offers music for old fans and new with an impressive 5-disc compilation, Plunky & Oneness 2012 Collectors’ Box Set, a retrospective of the best of his last 20 years’ 12 CD albums. Long known for his versatility, saxophonist-producer Plunky has exceeded the bounds of eclecticism in this extensive library of songs organized into genre-specific CD’s: Urban Groove, Cool Jazz, Love Songs, P Phunk and Afro World, packaged into a box set.
This is a collection of songs by one of the most prolific and enduring groups of the last 40 years. The band originated in the early 1970’s as Plunky & Oneness of Juju, an avant Afro-jazz ensemble, and they developed by constantly exploring a wide range additional genres of Black music including R&B, funk, smooth jazz, reggae, hip-hop and neo-soul. Plunky and the group has continued to record and tour extensively and recently had a new break-through when Plunky’s song “Drop” received national radio airplay and became a dance club hit.
Plunky & Oneness 2012 Collectors’ Box Set is a virtual music library of the best of Plunky’s last 20 years’ releases. The compilation includes more than 80 songs on five CD’s plus a bonus disc that contains background information, pictures, travel journals and videos.
The original 12 albums recorded and released between 1988 and 2008 were each unique but similar in that they all contained multiple types of music, as Plunky consciously continued to demonstrate the “oneness” or common characteristics inherent in all Black popular music forms. The songs on the new 2012 compilation CD’s are organized by genre, taking into account that listeners are likely to utilize music albums in accordance with their moods, activities and settings.
Whatever your mood, this collection offers music to enhance and uplift it. Disc 1 Urban Groove has saxy instrumentals for dancing or just grooving (and includes Plunky’s smash hit “Drop”). Disc 2 Cool Jazz is smooth tracks for a mellow atmosphere. Disc 3 Love Songs’ sensual music sets the mood for romance. Disc 4 P Phunk is all hard-core funk to move your mind and body. Disc 5 Afro World explores African rhythms and other world beats.
This is a massive compilation of music for Plunky fans and for collectors of original urban, saxy, cool, funky, love inducing, Afro-jazz and more. The five CD set, plus bonus disc will be packaged in a regular DVD case and have a list price of $39.99, with deep discounts offered for pre-release orders and downloads.
